Scholarship Info-For high school Juniors: Hills Bank and Leadership Grant Application. If you are currently a high school junior Washington County, be sure to check out the 2020 Hills Bank & Trust Leadership Grand scholarship program for $1000. It's a unique opportunity to gain valuable leadership skills and earn a college scholarship from 4-H!
Scholarship Info-The first annual $1,000 scholarship in memory of Mike Orris will be awarded to a graduating senior who has been a participant in Washington 4-H or FFA for 4 years. Scholarship application forms are available on the Fair Association website: washingtoncountyfairia.com and the Community Foundation of Washington County's website: cfwashingtoncounty.org. Application will also be available from the counseling office and at the Washington County Extension Office.
Employment Opportunities-The YMCA has several employment opportunities for the summer. Information is on the Counseling Office bulletin board.
Spring Play Auditions-WHS Spring Play is 'A Play About a Dragon'. Auditions will be on Monday, March 2 from 5-7 and Tuesday, March 3 from 3:30-5. See Mrs. Winter to sign up for Auditions and if you have any questions.

Lifeguard Training - YMCA Lifeguard Training-Lifeguard Training: March 13 from 4:00 - 10:00 pm, March 14 from 11:30 am - 9:30 pm, March 15 from 8:00 am - 5:00 pm: YMCA Recertification for Lifeguard - March 7, 11:30 am - 8:30 pm.
College Reps-Southeastern Community College will have a rep here Tuesday, March 10, 12:30 - 1:00.Wayne State College will have a rep here Thursday, February 27, 11:30 - 12:45.
Early Dismissal-Friday, February 21 is a 1:10 dismissal due to Teacher Professional Development.
National FFA Week-National FFA Week is next week and will be celebrated with Dress-Up Days: Monday, Feb 24 is Official Dress Day, Tuesday, Feb 26 is Lumberjack Day, Thursday, Feb 27 is Red vs Green Day and Friday, Feb 28 will be Chapter T-Shirt Day.
Congratulations-Congratulations to the Bowling Team who participated in Sub-State action yesterday. The Girls team placed 4th, with individual honors going to Taylor Northup finishing 3rd and Dawsen Schluetter with a 5th place finish.The Boy's team finished 5th with individual honors awarded to Ethan Zieglowsky with an 8th place finish.
Public Library-Monday, February 24, at the Public Library will be Project Runway, where dresses can be designed from books and pages. This event begins at 4:00.
